This sunny, charming self-catered studio apartment is perfect for visiting New York City. So centrally located that there is no place in downtown or mid- Manhattan that you can?t get to either on foot or by subway in less than half an hour (less by cab!) And even though we're near to everything, 22nd Street itself is pretty, tree-lined, quiet and very safe. Less than one block from our home there are two subway lines ( 1 , E & C ) the public Library and a CVS drug store open until midnight. |

Go one block further and you can reach three grocery stores, and another subway (V & F + Path trains). We're half a mile from the Village, half a mile from Macy's, and even closer to Chelsea's art galleries or Madison Square Garden. |

Since we live in the building and often use this room for our own guests, it has every amenity we could think of: High count sheets, feather beds, Wireless Internet, TV with VCR and lots of tapes, big bath towels, sunflower shower head. | ||

The room can be configured with either two or three twin or one Queen sized bed. This is a third floor walk up unit within our town house. Even though it is in our home, it has its own private hallway and entrance to the street. It overlooks the garden, which is pretty and peaceful, providing a nice contrast to the bustle of the city |

The kitchenette has silestone counters, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle and a nice sized refrigerator with a separate freezer. |

Melanie, the owner is very nice and accommodating. I have stayed in the apt about 3 or 4 times. It is very nicely furnished and very, very clean. It is on the 2nd floor of a walk up brownstone. The entrance and common areas are also very clean up to date. She has all kind of books , if you need something to read. Many of them are on NYC, so this can be a big help. It has one queen bed or two twin beds, so the space is limited. I think she will allow 3 people to stay.The apt has a little kitchen with a stove and fridge. It is very convenient to the 23rd street subway stations on 7th and 8th. Also within walking distance to the Meatpacking District and also down into the village.
